Project 3 Choosing A Genre To Compose In

The purpose of my research is to inform readers of how Living Learning Communities provide academic and social benefits to those who are involved.

Non-fiction, informative paper.

The audience is probably unfamiliar with the subject or may know very little about what a Living Learning Community really is.

My audience may assume that they are not the "right fit" for a LLC, however LLCs are designed to benefit everyone.

I will connect with my audience by providing important facts and reasoning on why these communities are most beneficial. I will use a 30 second ad, flyer and chalk display to grab their attention.

Personally, I prefer writing personal narratives and fiction, as I can have fun with it and speak more passionately about subjects; however, for this research, this will not be useful unless I included testimonies in my mode.
